IDC Show 2001...
The International Dobermann
Club Show 2001 was held in Paris, France. There where 561 Dobermanns listed to
enter the show held on the 8-9th of September 2001.
There was no "Best of Breed" (BOB) selected at the show this
year. There was a big shiny trophy present, but it was taken away by the end of
the show. There was a lot of confusion and talking about why, but in fact the BOB
title is not chosen by tradition in the IDC shows. Only at the show of
1999, because it was the DV's (Dobermann Verein) 100th anniversary, a BOB
was chosen (Graaf Zeppelin van Neęrlands stam). It was also presented at the IDC
2000 show (Wanja Wandor van Stevinhage), but that was a little understandable
mistake.
