I was positively surprised to see so many good hard working Dobermanns this year! Also to see so many Dobermanns with ears and tales who proved that the working abilities has nothing to do with the constantly discussed parts of the Dobermann! As Mr. van Zwan said at the dinner party Saturday evening: We love all Dobermanns, with or without!
The individual winner was Andrea Doring from Germany with Arak vom Swarzen Engel with 287 points (93-96-98). Second place was Ingar Andersen with Hanide Nemrod-Chuck from Norway with 285 points (95-95-95), and third place was Georges Berghmans from Belgium with Yno van d'Hogeschoot with 284 points (98-90-96).
The best tracking performance (A) was Georges Berghmans from Belgium with Yno d'Hogeschoot. The best obedience performance (B) was Karl Heinz Schneider from Germany with Bandit von der Hasbergen. It was without a doubt Karl Rehfus from Germany with Jano vom Bayern who made the most beautiful and best obedience performance, but he didn't pass the tracking so he failed the test. The best protection performance (C) by far was Stefan Jock from Belgium with the hard biting Xantos van't Steendorp!
The team winner in the championship was (again) Germany, second place was Italy and third place Holland. I would like to thank all helpers and the committee from "The Dobermann Friends in Holland" and the IDC for a very professional and successful arranged championship...
